Four authorities publish recalls and alerts that are not in this register, for the same reason in each case. Their websites carry a note asking automated visitors to stay away, and we do as it asks. Ignoring it would take about a minute, which is why the decision sits in our code rather than with whoever happens to be running the collection that day.
We do not read it as a snub, and we are not saying these four turned us down. That note is usually put in place once by whoever built the site and never looked at again. None of the four has been asked, and we have no idea what any of them would say if they were. If one of them would rather we collected their notices, we would be glad to hear it — that is the whole of what an agreement means here. Somebody last opened each of these sites by hand on 19 August 2026.
- NAFDAC
Nigeria - nafdac.gov.ng asks automated visitors to stay away, and we do as it asks. Nothing published by Nigeria's regulator has ever been collected here.We think roughly 400 published actions sit behind it. That is our estimate and not NAFDAC's figure, and it is the largest single thing missing from this register. Until that changes: WHO alerts that name products circulating in Nigeria, and anything sent to us directly by someone entitled to share it.

Zimbabwe - mcaz.co.zw asks automated visitors to stay away, and we do as it asks. Zimbabwean recalls reach this register only at second hand.Named news outlets, recorded as exactly that — tier 3, our lowest confidence.

- AMMPS
Morocco - ammps.sante.gov.ma asks automated visitors to stay away, and we do as it asks. Nothing from Morocco's regulator has been collected here.Press reports, and this register does not treat a press report as a regulatory action.
Whatever does reach us is filed as what it is. A WHO alert about a product circulating in Nigeria is a WHO record, not a Nigerian one. A recall an authority sends us directly is treated the same way: recorded at verification tier 2, saying who told us and how, and never claiming it was published when it was not.
16 of 55 member states have an authority on file. Every row carries its own last-checked date, and a row with none says so rather than borrowing one.
